Our designs are available in a range of colours. A black or navy cap works naturally for everyday wear. For greater character, green, pink or yellow makes a stronger statement. A white cap completes the selection for summer. Our flat caps are available in all these colours.
Our vintage-inspired caps favour darker shades, while our more contemporary designs explore colour more freely. Two styles that coexist within the collection.
Choosing a men’s cap depends as much on the shape of the face as it does on personal style.
The flat cap suits the widest range of faces. Its horizontal line lengthens and adds structure, while its short peak does not cast a shadow over the eyes. On a round face, wear it tilted slightly to create a diagonal line. On an angular face, position it straight so the clean edge echoes the features without making them appear harsher.
The felt baseball cap, with its rounded crown and longer peak, frames the face more noticeably. It suits those looking to keep the forehead open while gaining greater coverage. The baseball cap also creates a sportier look than a men’s newsboy cap.
With a full beard, choose a shape that retains volume at the top. Newsboy and baseball caps rebalance the silhouette, whereas a very flat shape concentrates the volume towards the lower half of the face. For glasses, the flat cap remains the simplest option, as its short peak does not interfere with the frames.
Sailor caps, which are shorter at the back and sit more closely around the nape, remain a less common variation within our men’s collections.
This is where the differences between the shapes become most apparent. The flat cap works almost anywhere, including in a professional setting, where it can be removed in a single movement when entering a building. Its understated character allows it to work where another shape might feel out of place.
Newsboy and baseball caps are more naturally associated with unstructured days: the market, a walk or a weekend in the countryside. Wool felt moves them away from a purely sportswear look, although they retain a more assertive character.
Many of our customers own both and alternate between them without thinking, just as they would change their shoes.
This is what separates a cap you keep from one you replace. Cotton canvas can lose its shape around the peak, become stained and eventually fade along its folds. Wool felt does not have the same problem. Dense and made without assembly seams or a rigid lining, it retains its shape without an internal structure and returns to its original line after being folded.
It develops character rather than simply wearing out. The colour softens, the material gradually moulds to the head and the cap becomes increasingly your own. Care should be carried out when dry, using a soft brush: no machine washing, water or dry cleaning.
As wool is naturally water-repellent, light rain remains on the surface without the need for fluorinated treatments or PFAS. The cap can then be left to air-dry without losing its shape.
Measure your head circumference with a tape measure, positioning it just above the ears and across the middle of the forehead. Then consult the product page of the design you are interested in, where the suitable size range is specified. Our size guide also includes a printable tape measure if you do not have one available.
Some designs come in several sizes, while others have an adjustable one-size fit. Supple and free from internal structure, wool felt gradually adapts to the head. A well-chosen cap therefore becomes even more comfortable over time.
